I can't even remember when was the last time I'd seen this screen. Can't even remembered how it looked like.

Life has pretty much changed since then. Personal happiness going downhill.... But it's all self-induced.

Why have I become such a person? Where was the happy-go-lucky person whom I loved dearly?

OK. I'll try to not be so negative from now onwards, ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE. Doodoo...

On a brighter note, I'm now learning new things at work. Trying to function effectively and DON'T LET PERSONAL EXPECTATIONS control my life.

I'll be who I was. I'll be happier. I'll make this life memorable!

Time flies.... it's been more than a month since I started work proper in a prison.

My experience so far have been unbelievable. Not a single day is the same and I must always prepare myself for the unexpected.

on a side note, reading matt's very personal entry about his grandma, it made me wonder, did I really do my part as her family when she was ill for the last 4 years? I chose not to visit her even I'm just 5 storeys below just the fact that I wanna avoid the awkwardness of my extended family questioning me about my relationship and behaviour.

Now that she's gone, I've re-discovered so much that I'd missed out during the last few years about my cousins, aunties and uncles. Despite me being a not so filial grandson, they'll still be by my side when I need them.

I'd only shed 2 tears for my granny during her wake. The moment, her heart stopped. I was actually happy and relieved for her now she's in a better place and far away from all her suffering in this mortal world.

As the chinese saying goes... 生老病死... This is just another cycle in life and she had lived hers, enjoyed numerous travels, good food, loving family in her 90 years in this world.

Time flies so fast! 22 weeks of training and I only have 2 days left.

In these 22 weeks, I've encountered so many different characters and made a few really good friends. I'm sure going to miss my days as a trainee and the fun, laughter, pain and sorrow that we have shared together.

I shall embark on a new journey once again.
